The origin of A Good Place to Start (GPS) is to provide an online source where youth in the community can search life-skills pertinent to their growth and ability to successfully live independent. In addition to the website, the founder has developed a series of curriculums to be taught in free workshops around the Denver Metro area, at locations where youth already frequent to attempt to over-come their transportation barrier. In addition to the resources listed under the ‘Resources’ Tab on the home page, GPS will also provide; personalized budgets/resumes, goal and life transition plans [by appointment only] to youth, adults and elderly for a small fee [inquire about student and senior discounts], as well as E-tutorials and webinars on you tube.
